It's a fantastic feeling when you get an idea for a story banging around in your head wanting to be written. So, then comes the hard part; planning it out. Every writer seems to have a different process. Some map out every possible move and plot every chapter board before writing; while others just fly by the seat of their pants.
What kind or writer are you? Are there any other ways that work for you?
I like to have a basic plan and direction in mind and develop my characters naturally along the way. Though I may have an outline for a chapter, it could change altogether as I write, often leading me to unexpected wonderful places and joining loose ends.
